✖Basic Protection – Terms & Conditions
1. Basic Protection Overview
Basic Protection is mandatory and automatically included with every vehicle rental.
This protection requires the renter to provide a refundable security deposit.
2. Security Deposit Policy
The security deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle model booked.
The exact deposit amount is clearly stated in the Booking Details
at the time of reservation.
- Deposit amount depends on the selected vehicle
- Deposit is paid prior to vehicle handover
- Deposit is refundable upon successful vehicle return
3. Vehicle Inspection & Deposit Refund
At the end of the rental period, the vehicle will be inspected by Easy Indo Travel.
If the vehicle is returned in the same condition as at handover,
with no new damage or loss, the deposit will be fully refunded.
4. Customer Responsibility for Damage
If any damage, loss, or mechanical issue is identified during the return inspection,
the renter shall be fully responsible for all related costs.
- Exterior damage (scratches, dents, broken panels)
- Interior damage or missing accessories
- Tyres, wheels, windows, mirrors, and lights
- Mechanical or engine damage caused by misuse or negligence
- Lost or damaged keys, documents, or equipment
Repair and replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
If total costs exceed the deposit amount, the renter agrees to pay
the remaining balance in full.
5. Required Documents
To comply with Basic Protection, renters must provide valid documents:
- Valid passport or Indonesian ID (KTP)
- Valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle rented
6. Important Exclusions
- Basic Protection does not cover repair or replacement costs
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs voids all protection
- Use outside permitted areas or illegal activities void protection
- Failure to follow rental terms may result in deposit forfeiture
7. Final Notice
Easy Indo Travel reserves the right to assess vehicle condition, classify damage,
and determine repair costs based on professional evaluation.
All decisions are final and legally binding under Indonesian law.
